Welcome to BrickART! This document ("Terms") outlines the rules for using the BrickART web application available at https://brickart.app ("Application"). By accessing or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any provision, please stop using the Application.

1. Description of Service #

BrickART is a web-based application allowing users to transform their photos and images into digital mosaic designs made of interlocking building bricks. The tool offers, among others:

2. User Accounts #

  1. Registration: Users have the option to create a free account in the Application.
  2. Account Benefits: Registered users can save their customized color palettes and save projects to the cloud for future editing.
  3. Security: The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. BrickART is not liable for any unauthorized access to the account resulting from user negligence.

3. User Content and Copyrights #

  1. Uploaded Images: The user retains full copyright to the photos and graphics uploaded to the Application for conversion into a mosaic.
  2. Declaration: By uploading a file, you declare that you possess the appropriate copyrights or licenses for it. It is strictly prohibited to upload content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the personal rights or intellectual property of third parties.
  3. Image Processing: Uploaded images are processed solely for the purpose of generating the mosaic and the PDF instruction. Saving images and projects in the cloud occurs only upon the explicit request of a registered user.

4. Intellectual Property #

  1. Application Rights: The source code, architecture, user interface, BrickART logo, and all graphic materials are the intellectual property of the Application's creator and are protected by copyright law.
  2. Disclaimer: BrickART is an independent tool intended for creative editing. The Application is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored, or endorsed by the LEGO Group. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site.

5. Privacy and Data Protection #

The rules regarding the collection, processing, and protection of users' personal data (including login details and projects stored in the cloud) are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability #

  1. The Application is provided on an "as is" basis. The creator of BrickART does not guarantee that the service will operate without interruptions or errors.
  2. The creator is not liable for any loss of unsaved projects, errors in generating PDF instructions, or temporary unavailability of the service.
  3. BrickART does not sell physical bricks. The generated list of elements, colors, and the total brick count provided in the PDF instruction is for illustrative purposes only, and we do not guarantee the availability of selected colors or shapes on the retail market.

7. Changes to the Terms #

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Registered users may be notified of significant changes via email or through an in-app message. Continued use of the Application after changes have been implemented constitutes acceptance of those changes.
